Sholeh Rahimi, MD, PhD

She graduated in 1994 from the University of Freiburg Faculty of Medicine in Germany, obtaining her doctorate in medicine. Following medical school, she went on to receive her PhD at the university in 1997. She made the decision to move to Nevada, where she completed her internal medicine training at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.

Dedicated to advancing the field of medicine, Dr. Rahimi has conducted research at the University of Freiburg and the UC Davis Medical Center. She is also a co-author of “Nephrology Dialysis Transplantation Volume 13” published by the Oxford University Press.

Dr. Rahimi is an independent OPTAVIA® coach who guides and inspires people to take a proactive approach to wellness. She specializes in medical weight loss, offering clinically proven weight management plans and scientifically-developed products to improve fat burning and help you develop better eating habits.

Dr. Rahimi is fluent in English, Persian, and German, allowing her to tailor custom plans to meet a variety of patient needs. She is truly looking forward to meeting new and returning patients at Folsom Medical Plaza.
